PickleDinkers is an adult pickleball league intended for those 18 years of age or older and does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If in the future, we collect personally identifiable information from children, we will do so in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (15 U.S.C. 6501 et seq.).
Collection of Your Personal Information
Members are asked to provide certain information when they sign up such as a name, address, telephone number, billing information (such as a credit card number) and a valid email address. The personal information collected is used strictly to provide league service and manage each member’s account. Except as otherwise described in this statement, personal information you provide on the site will not be shared outside of PickleDinkers without your permission.
PickleDinkers may collect certain information about your visit, such as the name of the Internet service provider and the Internet Protocol (IP) address through which you access the Internet; the date and time you access our site.
Use of Your Personal Information
The personal information collected by PickleDinkers will be used to operate the League and to provide the service(s) or carry out the transaction(s) you have requested or authorized. In support of these uses, PickleDinkers may use personal information to provide you with more effective customer service, to improve our site and any related PickleDinkers products or services.
We may use your personal information to provide you with important information about the product or service that you are using, including critical updates and notifications. Additionally, with your permission, we may send you information about other PickleDinkers products and services, and/or share information with PickleDinkers partners so they may send you information about their products and services.
For the purpose of providing league service, PickleDinkers will disclose the following personal information only to the members you are assigned to play on your “schedule” and with your permission the “sub list”. This information is limited to your name , phone numbers and email address. This information is required for your opponents to be able to contact you and schedule matches. Your home address is never disclosed to other members or third parties.
PickleDinkers may disclose personal information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:
(a) Conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on PickleDinkers or the Site;
(b) Protect and defend the rights or property of PickleDinkers;
or (c) Act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of PickleDinkers employees or agents, users of PickleDinkers products or services, or members of the public.
Use of Non Personal Information and League Results
PickleDinkers reserves the right publish and make public the results of your league play. This supports our company policy of providing full reporting and transparency. This information includes but is not limited to match results, league standings, playoff results, city and home courts. Match results are not personal to a single player, they are the property of the league. Displaying match results is required to preserve and maintain the historical integrity of the league standings and statistics. This information will not be removed for any reason as it would distort the results for the entire league. Players only have access to this information if they are in good standing with the league.
PickleDinkers may send out periodic e-mails related to a product or service you requested, or upcoming events. Members may elect to unsubscribe to these notices at any time. Members that choose to actively participate in a league season may not choose to unsubscribe to emails that pertain to the current season of play as they are considered an essential part of the service you have chosen.
PickleDinkers uses standard technology called “cookies”, which are small data files that are transferred to your computer when you allow your browser to accept cookies. Cookies automatically identify your Web browser to the site whenever you visit the site, and make using the site easier for you by saving your passwords, purchases, and preferences. By tracking how and when you use the site, cookies help us determine which areas are popular and which are not. Many improvements and updates to the site are based on data obtained from cookies.
PickleDinkers has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the personal information under our control. While we make every effort to ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems, we cannot fully guarantee that our security measures will prevent third-party “hackers” from illegally obtaining this information.
